Investing & Trading covers the products sold to people who want their money to work harder: trading courses, stock and options education, signal services, and research tools. This is the category where a bad purchase costs twice, once for the product and again for the trades it talks you into. We look at whether the education is real, whether performance claims are backed by anything you can check, and whether the price makes sense next to a low-cost index fund and a library card. Nothing here is investment advice. We review the product and the seller, then leave the capital decision to you.
The trade-offs are sharper here than anywhere else on the site. Higher promised upside almost always comes with thinner disclosure and heavier marketing. Free webinars are funnels into paid tiers. Paid programs vary wildly in whether the curriculum survives a real market cycle, and back-tested results are not the same as money someone made. Subscription research tools charge monthly for data you may only use during earnings season. We flag refund terms, what the performance claims rest on, and where a cheaper or free route gets you the same information.
- Who it's for
- Investors and would-be traders who want proof before paying for education, signals, or tools, and who are wary of guru marketing.
- How we evaluate
- Whether performance claims can be checked, curriculum depth, refund terms, cost against low-cost alternatives, and how the seller makes its money.

We haven't cleared an investing or trading product for this category yet.
Every platform we've looked at so far either buried its fees in the fine print or didn't survive our conflict-of-interest check, so this list stays empty on purpose rather than padding it with something we wouldn't use ourselves.
A tracked hop for this category is not live yet.
